Carmel Clay Connections is a once a month show with the superintendent hosted by Katie Pittman and Dillon Welch. Special guests are brought on each show as the current events and going- on’s of Carmel and the high school are explored. This first episode was recorded in late September. High Performing School District
This month, Katie and Dillon spoke with the Superintendent Dr. Jeff Swensson as well as Dan Mader who is the President of the Carmel Education Foundation Board of Directors. We discussed the definition of a high-performing school district and began to talk about the new teacher evaluation program.
Two new segments were introduced in this month’s show: CHS Behind the Scenes and Organization 101. Katie hosts this month show as we are once again joined by CCS Superintendent Dr. Jeff Swensson.
Teacher of the Year
In first episode of Carmel Clay Connections, Katie and Dillon introduced the Superintendent of Carmel Clay Schools, Dr. Jeff Swensson. They also sat down with Jim Streisel who was recently nominated Teacher of the Year, to get to know him and see what this award means to him.
